Sander Hermann- 20 Years / Shooting Coach / Basketball Trainer
Sander Hermann is a private basketball trainer and professional shooting coach in the Orange County and Los Angeles area. He develops and prepares players for high school, college, NBA and overseas pro teams. Sander trains all players on mid range jumpers, 3 point shooting, free throws and inside post moves. Basketball is 80% shooting and it's critical to have a consistent and accurate shot to play at a high level.
The advantage of training with Sander is the shot mechanics, timing and ball flight is being directed and corrected on every shooting attempt and reinforced with proper control. All players are skilled on shooting, dribbling, footwork, creating space, attacking the paint and long term development. The most common phone call I get, is my son or daughter is a great defender, good dribbler but the shooting is very inconsistent. Basketball shooting is a complete science and players must learn how to generate power, control the mechanics and manage the ball speed at various locations.
Player Shooting And Habits!
Most players develop bad habits on the mechanics of shooting, while playing youth basketball. Unfortunately, the coaches that help at the lower age groups usually have very little experience and players must learn the mechanics, timing and speed of shooting. Coach Sander is a master shooting coach and has developed hundreds of players over the years. He is the private coach for Wesley Saunders of Harvard (2014 Ivy League Player Of Year) and 2012 the Clippers personally requested his expertise for Blake Griffin.
